I've been using tretinoin for four months now and it works great against fine lines and wrinkles. My skin is visibly smoother and looks younger. I had some flaking in the beginning, but that quickly went away with a good moisturizer.
Tretinoin ensures that the skin renews faster and is effective for acne, skin aging and wrinkles.

Tretinoin cream is a topical medication that is derived from vitamin A and is used for the acne treatment, skin aging and wrinkles. Tretinoin cream is mainly used for mild forms of acne. In more severe forms, Tretinoin cream is used in combination with other medications.
Tretinoin cream works by promoting cell renewal in the epidermis, causing the old skin layer to disappear faster. As a result, pores are less likely to clog, acne outbreaks are reduced and the overall texture and appearance of the skin improves.
Apply a thin layer of Tretinoin cream to clean, dry skin once a day before bed. Use sunscreen during the day, as Tretinoin can make skin more sensitive to sunlight.

Tretinoin on the skin has been on the market internationally since 1962. It is available as the unbranded Tretinoin FNA.
This medication interacts with other medications. The text below only lists the active substances of these drugs, not the brand names. You can check whether your medicine contains one of these active substances in your package insert under the heading “composition”.
The medications with which the most important interactions occur are as follows.
- Benzoyl peroxide skin gel. Do not apply this skin gel to the skin at the same time as tretinoin. Both drugs reduce each other's effect. If you need to use both: smear one medication in the morning and the other before the night.
- Other skin remedies may reduce the effect of tretinoin. Therefore, do not apply makeup, creams or other skin products to your skin at the same time as tretinoin. Wait until the skin product is sufficiently absorbed into the skin before applying the next one.
Do you doubt that these interactions are important to you? Then contact your pharmacist or doctor.
You can stop using Tretinoin cream at any time. The skin condition may then return some time later.
