What is the best weight-loss medicine for you?
The best weight-loss medication depends on your situation, BMI and any health conditions you may have. The four options we offer:
- Mounjaro (tirzepatide): latest generation, average weight loss of 20 to 22%
- Wegovy (semaglutide): average weight loss of 15%
- Ozempic (semaglutide): average weight loss of 10 to 12%
- Rybelsus (oral semaglutide): tablet for those who wish to avoid injections
What is the difference between Mounjaro (tirzepatide) and Ozempic/Wegovy (semaglutide)?
Mounjaro acts on two hormones (GLP-1 and GIP), whilst Ozempic and Wegovy act only on GLP-1. As a result, Mounjaro leads to greater weight loss on average: 20 to 22% compared to 15% for Wegovy and Ozempic.
- Mounjaro: newer, stronger effect, higher price
- Wegovy: proven to be safe, on the market for longer. Available in higher doses than Ozempic
- Ozempic: same as Wegovy but is officially approved for type 2 diabetes (off-label use for weight loss)
Both suppress your appetite, slow down gastric emptying and improve insulin sensitivity.
Do you need a prescription for Mounjaro or Ozempic?
Yes, both medicines are strictly prescription-only in the Netherlands. They are not available without a prescription.
The prescription must be issued by a doctor after assessing whether you are eligible. The criteria are usually: a BMI over 30, or a BMI over 27 with additional health conditions such as high blood pressure or type 2 diabetes.

Are Mounjaro (tirzepatide) and Ozempic (semaglutide) safe?

What does Fellos cost?
The full medical assessment is free of charge. This includes a comprehensive assessment by a BIG-registered doctor, your personalised treatment plan, follow-up consultations where necessary, and ongoing online support from our medical team.
You pay for the medication at the end of the assessment. The cost varies depending on the treatment. We charge this fee to ensure that our doctors only consider serious applications.
If it turns out you are not suitable for treatment, you will of course pay nothing; we will refund the amount paid for the medication immediately.
Who are the doctors Fellos works with?
Good and quality care is our priority. That is why Fellos only works with BIG-registered doctors in the Netherlands. Of course, our doctors only take your interests into account, which is why Fellos logically does not work with commissions for prescribing medication.

Fellos works with a partner pharmacy based in the Netherlands. In this way, we always guarantee reliable medication. Our partner pharmacy is ApotheekZorg in Bladel, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KVK) under number 17128523.
